Over a period of 18 months Beckwith Electronic Engineering Company installed the fire alarm system with audio evacuation for the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Convention Center in downtown San Antonio. The Grand Hyatt is a 34 story building with over 1000 guest rooms, including 62 suites, 27 meeting rooms, 2 grand ball rooms, 147 residential condos, and a restaurant. The fire alarm system consists of 8 panels that control over 1500 addressable modules and over 2500 notification devices and controls aspects of each of the following building systems: Stairwell Pressurization for Smoke Control, HVAC, Security, Elevators, Audio, and Fire Suppression.
